More options – more combinations.

“Classic-Line“ worm gear screw jacks from the SHE model series are probably the most versatile actuators in the Pfaff-silberblau actuator portfolio. Now, the drive technology specialist has completely reworked this successful model series and is offering its customers virtually unlimited possibilities when it comes to moving loads that weigh between 500 kg and 200 tonnes.

Most model sizes are now available in at least 82 standard versions. SHE components for example, come with protective tubing to cover the worm gears, anti-turn devices and electric stroke-end limits switches, and variants can be ordered with both mechanical and inductive switching elements. Worm-gear screw jacks are also available with different safety nuts, plus the option of having electric safety monitoring as a protection against breakage inside the nut (in accordance with DIN EN280, EN1493, EN1756 and EN1570). The range of options continues all the way to include versions with reduced play or adjustable clearance

Depending on the model type, all SHE variants can be combined with either two or four different head versions, enabling variable integration of the lifting element into the existing design depending upon the application. The options for combining SHEs with add-on parts have also been greatly expanded. Customers can couple the new lifting gear drive with different swivel systems, and mount a multitude of different drive motors via the variable system of motor-mounting flanges.

Pfaff has also devised a system of subassemblies encompassing the new SHE modular line up’s extensive range of variants. The components have been optimised, and enhanced documentation to assist in the production process provides a much better overview of the different variants that are available for a specific system. All this makes for reduced delivery times across a much wider variety of options.

New series SHEs and accessories remain backwards compatible with Pfaff-silberblau’s previous SHE models. All relevant installation dimensions and performance specifications remain unchanged to ensure that ordering replacement parts and complete units remains as easy as ever.
