Varied models for handling and systems, with a wide selection of accessories

Pfaff-silberblau is delighted to announce the launch of a new DIN EN 1570 range of hydraulic scissor- lifting tables. Capable of being individually adapted to suit differing customer requirements, the new range comprises 15 system versions of the “simple scissor” type table.

The company has combined optimum performance, safety, user-friendliness and quality within the design of the new scissor-type lifting table construction kits. The package also includes assistance with selecting the best specification to ensure maximum ROCE, on- site assembly, and 100% reliable service and maintenance back up. These economical lifting tables, with their excellent energy efficiency, extended maintenance intervals and long in-service lifetime, ensure fast return on investment.

The range includes lifting tables suitable for both handling and integrated system applications. Models are also available with high-quality bearing systems, combined with cooling, for high numbers of cycles in multiple-shift operations. Stable, robust all-steel lifting platforms ensure increased efficiency in the loading area, as well as a long life.

The lifting tables are designed for loads of 500 to 10,000 kg, with lifting heights of 800, 1,000, 1,300 or 1,600 mm. In addition to the standard lifting speed, there are several pump units and motors to choose from. There are also different choices of scissor, bearings and drives available, as well as versions with a self-supporting base frame. The self-supporting base frame removes the need for a concrete bed thus saving on commissioning time. Depending on the application, the lifting table can be supplied in a sheet-metal version, or in the more stable, rigid, profiled version.

Thanks to the optimised cylinder position, these new Pfaff-silberblau lifting tables are very energy-efficient. Closed ”plunger cylinders“ with high-quality sealing systems and honed, hard-chrome plated piston-rods ensure low maintenance costs. The non-return valve integrated in each jack cylinder prevents the load from crashing in the event of hose failure. There is a choice of two types of bearing for the lifting table: high-quality radial pivoting bearings for low numbers of operating cycles, and maintenance-free radial pivoting bearings for higher numbers of press cycles.

The product developers at Pfaff-silberblau have designed the high-quality, pressure-compensated gear pump with valve package for a lifetime of at least one million load cycles, while the generous volume of pressure medium ensures adequate cooling. The lifting tables are driven via contactors. The electrical components are Protection Class IP 54, and splash-proof. Cylinder end stops and an upper stroke limit switch round off the safety package.

As ever Pfaff-silberblau has also put considerable effort into accessories and optional extras. These include railings, overload flaps in various versions, under-run protection, special connection voltages or control voltages and special controls in different variants, plus running gear and corrosion-proof models. A particularly environmentally compatible option is the version with bio-degradable hydraulic fluid, and custom units for nuclear facilities and theatre-stage equipment can also be supplied.
