New HQ in Kissing sets the stage for even greater growth and innovation
It took three removal companies and approximately 3,000 crates to move the administrative files alone when the Pfaff-silberblau Group relocated late last year.
Pfaff-silberblau’s new headquarters in the “Silberpark” in Kissing comprises a four-floor administrative building with a total area of 3,000 m², a new process-oriented production facility and a highly efficient warehousing facility with a total area of 6,400 m².
The company’s 220 employees at the site in Kissing are delighted with their new bright, spacious offices in the new building and with the ease of access to all parts of the site – especially the modern production and storage facilities. This “new start” in Kissing hails a new phase of growth and innovation: Pfaff-silberblau is planning massive new investment in production and is currently recruiting highly motivated employees for all its divisions.

“In this highly modern work environment, the employees of Pfaff-silberblau can fully manifest their strengths,” says Dr. Volker Bartelt, CEO. “Production and storage facilities are optimally aligned with material flows and will guarantee a smooth transition between all work processes. Our internal logistics area now consists of state-of-the-art technology and we’re planning further investments in production facilities in 2008.”
The site in Kissing will easily accommodate the medium-term expansion plans of the company: Even before construction began, the company had secured an option to expand production and warehousing to a total area of 12,000 m² and it can therefore further expand its production capacity at any time.
“We’ve not only invested in production and storage, but also in IT and modern call-centre technology,” explains Bernd Wagner, CFO at Pfaff-silberblau. “To support our growth, we now need to increase our staffing levels. We are seeking trained sales personnel, engineers with experience in our technology areas, and production operatives.”
Pfaff-silberblau in Kissing offers its current and future employees an attractive and modern working environment with ideal accessibility: The new “Silberpark” – named after Pfaff-silberblau as the first company to settle in it – lies directly at the northern entrance to the B2 motorway to Friedberg and Augsburg. For employees who travel to work by public transport, Pfaff-silberblau has commissioned its own bus stop in front of the company premises from the local transport services. With the new Friedberger Schleifenstraße, this internationally operating company also has free access to the A8 motorway.
